San Francisco, CA - August 18, 2026 -We're the presenting sponsor of BrokerTech Connect: Chicago, hosted by BrokerTech Ventures. It's the second year of the conference, and the whole eventual team will be there for all three days.

Why we're backing this one

We sponsor a lot of insurance events. This one is different.

BTV built BrokerTech Connect to be, in COO Susan Hatten's words, “built for brokers and by brokers” - with technology companies invited in rather than setting the agenda. Hatten's stated goal is the best broker-led conference, not the biggest, and you feel that in the room.

BTV also treats the room as a precompetitive space: firms that compete everywhere else working on problems none of them can solve alone. Chief Innovation Officer Kacie Conroy's test is whether you leave with something you're going to build, rather than notes on doing the same thing one percent better.

That's the room we want to be in. Most of what we've built came from a broker telling us something was broken, in enough detail that we could fix it.

Mohit is on the main stage

Our CEO, Mohit Chawla, is presenting AI Without the Anxiety: How AI Empowers Every Role in Your Agency on Tuesday, September 1 at 3:55 PM in the Millennium Room.

The short version: every brokerage runs on three pillars - the work, the money, and the insight that should connect them. In most agencies they live apart - in carrier portals, in spreadsheets, in the reconciliation scramble at the end of every month. The gaps between them are where renewals get missed, commissions go unrecovered, and account managers spend their afternoons hunting for a document instead of talking to a client.

Mohit shows what a brokerage looks like when those three flows are connected. Producers walk into renewals already knowing the account. Account managers stop context-switching between systems. Accountants close the books without surprises. It's a practical path to AI maturity across the middle and back office - where the work actually happens, and where the returns are easiest to measure.

What else is on

BrokerTech Connect brings together C-suite leaders and decision-makers from brokerages, carriers, wholesalers, startups, venture firms, and technology providers, with programming on AI, change management, and what digital-first insurance organizations actually look like in practice.

We'll be on-site the whole time. If you're an agency principal weighing new technology, an accounting lead trying to get month-end under control, or a producer who wants their afternoons back, we'd like to talk.
